How Our Rentals Work

All Granny Members are given access to the Rental Archive.

Rent unique and limited edition Granny products as well as carefully chosen vintage pieces for 7 or 30 days, with the option to extend.

Granny takes care of delivery, returns, packaging, and cleaning for all rentals.

Step 1 

Become a Granny Member


  • There are two tiers of membership - Basic (free) and Premium (£120 per year).

Step 2 

Explore the Granny Archive


  • Choose the item(s) you'd like to rent from the Archive.
  • Decide how long your rental period will be - 7 days or 30 days.

Step 3 

Receive your delivery


  • Rentals are delivered in custom, reusable packaging via DPD. Your rental period begins on the date of delivery.
  • Please keep the packaging as you will need this in order to return your item. 
  • All items are sent with a security band attached. If you think you might want to immediately return your item for a refund of the rental fee, you can try it on with the band still attached. Please do not remove the security band as we cannot accept an immediate return or refund the rental fee.
Step 4 

Enjoy your Rental


  • Please enjoy and take care of your Granny item(s) as if it were your own. The compulsory Accidental Damage Waiver charged at the point of rental covers damage and repair. Please get in touch immediately if you lose an item or it is irreparably damaged.

  • There is no need to clean an item before return, but if you’d like to do so during the rental, please read and follow the care instructions.

Step 5 

Preparing for Return


  • Keep the packaging, pre-paid return label and Granny Packaging Seal (small black and red seal included in your package) so that you can easily return your item. You can also put the used Granny Seal in the transparent pocket on the inside of the packaging and return it to us later, alongside your item, for recycling.
  • Make sure you return your item by the end of the rental period to avoid an extension fee - you need to dispatch them no later than the 7th or 30th day after the start of your rental period. 

  • If you'd like to return something early, you can request to do so by emailing us, and will receive Granny Points for doing so.

Step 6 

Return


  • Place the item carefully into the packaging and close it. 

  • Secure the Granny Packaging Seal to the zipper on the outside of the package, making sure the package is completely sealed. 

  • Insert the return label into the transparent pocket on the outside of your packaging. Please ensure the label can be clearly scanned and the pocket is free of dirt or marks. 

  • Find your nearest DPD drop off point and take your package there.

  • Once received by Granny, we will condition check, clean, and sanitise the item to optimise its lifespan and prepare it for its next wearer.
